Abstract: 

In recent years, the image retargeting (IR) problem has been discussed as one of the challenging topics in the field of image processing in different applied domains. In this paper, a Multi operators hybrid method is proposed (IRWCO2C) to improve performance of an IR system, which is performed in three sub-systems. Firstly, the identification precision of important regions is enhanced using a feature extraction technique based on wavelet coefficients (WC) then identified the saliency map of images. In second sub-system, this saliency map is used to improve performance of seam carving process instead of the saliency map identified by conventional methods. Finally, the act of operators selection is improved using metaheuristic techniques to optimize process of operators combination. Findings reveal that our method, IR-WCO2C provided the highest precision (0. 74) in the IR process. Also, IR-WCO2C provided an improvement of 20% over the previous methods in different stages of the IR.

Abstract: 

In some Multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problems, various relationships among the decision attributes should be considered. This paper investigates the prioritization relationship of attributes in MADM with trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TrIFNs). TrIFNs are a special intu-itionistic fuzzy set on a real number set and have better capability to model ill-known quantities. Firstly, the weighted possibility means of membership and non-membership functions for TrIFNs are defined. Hereby, a new lexico-graphic ranking method for TrIFNs is presented. Then, a series of trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy prioritized aggregation operators are developed, including trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy prioritized score (TrIFPS) operator, trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy prioritized weighted average (TrIFPWA) operator, trape-zoidal intuitionistic fuzzy prioritized and (TrIFP-AND) operator and trape-zoidal intuitionistic fuzzy prioritized or (TrIFP-OR) operator. Some desirable properties of these operators are also discussed. By utilizing the TrIFPWA op-erator, the attribute values of alternatives are integrated into the overall ones, which are used to rank the alternatives. Thus, a new method is proposed for solving the prioritized MADM problems with TrIFNs. Finally, the applica-bility of the proposed method is illustrated with a supply chain collaboration example.

Abstract: 

Numerous studies published in the fi eld of cellular manufacturing system are based on the assumption that machines are reliable in the entire production line without any breakdown. Since such assumptions are not usually realistic, to contribute to closing this gap between assumption and reality, a new model was proposed that additionally considered machine reliability, alternative process routings, and workforce assignment in a dynamic environment. Given such considerations in this research, the modified problem was defined and formulated and an extended mixed integer Multi-period mathematical model was proposed. In order to evaluate the effectiveness and capability of the extended model, some hypothetical numerical instances were generated and computational experiments were carried out using GAMS optimization package. Experimental results demonstrated that the demand value could affect the machine breakdown rate, and a machine with a minimum breakdown rate was implemented more often than others. Moreover, the observed trade off between the workforce-related costs and cell-formation costs indicated that workforce related issues had a significant impact on the total efficiency of the system. The proposed model can be quite applicable to medium-and large-scale manufacturing companies.

Abstract: 

The aim of this paper is to introduce an interval trapezoidal neutrosophic set, which is a combination of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, and an interval neutrosophic set. This paper presents some operational rules and the score and accuracy functions of interval trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers. Then, some aggregation operators based on interval trapezoidal neutrosophic information are proposed: the Interval Trapezoidal Neutrosophic Number Weighted Arithmetic Averaging (ITNNWAA) operator and the Interval Trapezoidal Neutrosophic Number Weighted Geometric Averaging (ITNNWGA) operator; in addition, the properties of these operators are investigated in detail. Furthermore, a Multi-attribute decision-making method is developed based on the operators. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the applicability and e ectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: 

This paper presents a Multi-objective simulated annealing algorithm for mixed-model two-sided assembly line balancing with Multi skilled operators. The objectives of the proposed model are minimizing the number of mated-stations, the number of total stations and total human cost for a given cycle time. Also, maximizing the weighted line efficiency and minimizing the weighted smoothness index are considered for the problem. An example is solved with the proposed approach in detail and the performance of this algorithm is tested on a set of test problems and changing neighborhood solution rules. The results show the proposed algorithm can be used as a good algorithm to solve the problem.

Abstract: 

Limited water resources in many arid and semiarid regions of the world pose a serious threat to land reclamation and sustainable development. Therefore, it is necessary to review past policies and formulate new policies in this area. In Iran, with mostly arid and semiarid climatic conditions, water scarcity has become a great concern affecting not only the agricultural sector but also the industrial sector and even the drinking water supply in some parts of the country. In recent years, due to climate change, population growth and increasing water requirements, it is expected that the method of water distribution will change and the optimal redistribution of resources will be seriously considered (Mazandarani Zadeh and Hosseini, 2021; Misaghi et. al., 2020; Hosseiniasl et al., 2018).A review of past research shows that although many studies have been conducted on how to redistribute water optimally among retailers, each has sought to provide and optimize water resources by defining a specific objective function. Since most objective functions do not show the ability to describe mathematics accurately, it is better to use linguistic descriptions to model them.In this research, the objective function has been defined using fuzzy capabilities to describe peripheral phenomena. The irrigation network of Qazvin plain was equal to 255 million cubic meters per year in the past, but in recent years due to various reasons such as climate change and increased harvest for drinking water supply in Tehran, the allocated amount has decreased to about 120 million cubic meters per year. The network consists of 11 subnets, each of which acts as an operator. Due to the reduction of allocated water in the irrigation network of Qazvin plain and the lack of reform of the irrigation program to this plain, in this study, an attempt has been made to reallocate water to maximize utility, including increasing the total network revenue and observing justice using fuzzy inference system.

Abstract: 

Purpose: One of the topics for manufacturers today is to discuss the diversity of customer tastes, which to manage this situation with the least change in products, requires Multiple lines that have the necessary flexibility to produce these products. On the other hand, many products require assembly operations. The main purpose of this article is to balance these issues according to the conditions of the workforce and different products. Methodology: This paper presents two mathematical models to minimize the number of workstations per given cycle time. In the first model, all parameters are definite. Since customer demand may not be constant and this factor can affect the cycle time, the second model uses a robust approach to this issue. Findings: Analysis of various issues shows that a robust modeling approach provides a more reliable design and allows decision makers to have better assembly based on a better understanding of short-term and long-term conditions under conditions of demand uncertainty. Originality/Value: In this paper, two new mathematical models for assembly line balance are presented. Multi-models in which assembly operations are performed manually by workers and for more accurate planning, the differences that workers have in terms of learning and forgetfulness effect on assembly line balance are considered.

Abstract: 

The aim of this manuscript is to present a new concept of hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (Hq-ROFSs) by combining the concept of the q-ROFSs as well as Hesitant fuzzy sets. The proposed concept is the generalization of the fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, hesitant fuzzy sets, and Pythagorean fuzzy sets as well as intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy sets (IHFSs) and hesitant Pythagorean fuzzy sets (HPFSs). Furthermore some basic operational laws of hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy have been investigated. The score and accuracy functions are defined which play a vital role in decision making process for making comparison between the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers (Hq-ROFNs). Under the Hq-ROF environment, Hq-ROF weighted averaging (Hq-ROFWA) and Hq-ROF weighted geometric (Hq-ROFWG) operators are introduced and various properties of these aggregation operators are studied. Additionaly, a numerical application shows that how the proposed operators are utilized to solve Multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems in which experts added their optimistic and pessimistic preferences. Finally the analysis of proposed method with other methods is presented which show that the method presented in this paper is more flexible and superior than existing methods.

Abstract: 

The cubic uncertain fuzzy linguistic variable can easily express the fuzzy information, and the power average (PA) operator is a useful tool which provides more versatility in the information aggregation procedure. In this paper, we will combine the PA operator and Einstein operations to cubic uncertain linguistic environment and propose some new PA operators. Firstly, the definition and some basic operations of cubic uncertain linguistic number, power aggregation (PA) operator and Einstein operations are introduced. Then, we propose cubic uncertain linguistic fuzzy powered Einstein averaging operator, cubic uncertain linguistic fuzzy powered Einstein weighted (CULFPEWA) operator, cubic uncertain linguistic fuzzy Einstein geometric operator and cubic uncertain linguistic fuzzy Einstein weighted geometric (CULFPEWG) operator and discuss some properties of these in detail. Furthermore, we develop the decision-making methods for Multi-attribute group decision-making problems with cubic uncertain linguistic information and give the detail decision steps. At last, an illustrate example is given to show the process of decision making and the effectiveness of the proposed method.
